Default Bent over rows and upper body angle

What angle do you use? I've always done with my upper body pretty much parallel to the floor. What is the difference between this and for example 45 degrees? experiences?

I use them both, but recently ive been doing them with my body parallel to the floor and touching the ground on each rep.

I cant use near as much weight on the super strict ones. 110kg x 5 reps is pretty hard, with my back at 45 degrees 150kg x 6-8 reps was easier.

For me, the strict ones hit more upper back while the 45 degree ones seem to hit my lower lats a bit more. I would say it depends on the goal.

I do them more like 45 degrees. But I think I will give parallel touch the floor each rep rows(Pendlay Rows hah) a shot pretty soon too, as I have never tried them.

I'm doing pendlays in my routine now. Trying to get the hang of bending the mid back and extending + pulling with elbows and retracting scap without moving anything else. It is hard, but it REALLY hits the lats.. and the entire back really. I have to do them off some plates though, since I can't really reach a bar down on the ground without my knees being in the way of the bar path.

I've always done them parallel to the floor. It feels right to me to do them that way.

one arm rows, and sometimes pendlay and t-bar. Rarely ever sloppy rows.
