Default Testosterone Nation res MagMob

TESTOSTERONE NATION - How Not to Warm Up

He has recommended that at least three of the mobility exercises in MagMob not be used: Scorpions, Cradle walks, and Windshield Wipers (hip crossovers). I am not competent to evaluate this. I would be interested in what others have to say.

Note: there may be variations in the exercises as the two sources describe them. Would that make any difference?

I know Boyle is not a fan of scorpions nor windshield wipers due to the fact that most people are going to rotate at the lumbar.

If a client has a history of low back issues or tends to use lumbar flexion/rotation (which is most people) instead of thoracic then I'm going to be careful to cue them. I don't normally have anyone do scorpions anyway and instead use a roller to work on thoracic flexibility and other movements for dynamic hip work.
