Default March's featured blog

I put it up but forgot to create a post about it. Check out Steve Cotter's Blog: http://www.fullkontact.com/WordPress/

He's undoubtedly the best kettlebell instructor in the country, if not the world, as well as being one of the strongest men I have ever witnessed. He defies the laws of physics!

If that doesn't beat all, he's a really humble and approachable guy who has three young kiddos (I like him already), one of the most sought-after strength coaches on the worldwide speaking circuit, and incidentally the headliner for the 6th annual fitness summit this May.

In answer to your question, Nick, I think he has his own course certification that is focused on functional training, mostly for MMA.

His style is (thankfully) QUITE different than Pavel's. No, "COMRADE, are you a real man?" kind of crap.

I was very impressed with his presentations, and blown away by his strength. Did I mention that he was one of the strongest guys I have ever seen?

Who else in here has seen him present? I would love to have some other people other than myself to share their thoughts.

I attended a two day seminar Steve hosted in San Diego a few months back, and to say the least he is a very respected guy among fitness professionals. A majority of the people at this seminar were themselves trainers/gym owners looking to further their knowledge and judging from what I saw everybody came away more than satisfied.

He spent 8+ hours each day coaching, demonstrating, talking shop, and shooting the breeze.

Steve is as a down to earth, laid back guy as you'll ever meet. Knowing the crowd that gathers for the Summit I'd say it's a good fit. Everyone will come away with a toolbox of new knowledge to apply to themselves and/or their clients.

JP, from my understanding Steve's new organization, the IKFF is geared towards fitness professionals.
