So far, it's worth staying until Monday. Anyone upping the ante?

I liked the hike/climb we did in '06. I was envious that I didn't go on the mt bike ride...

I'd even love to get in some really brutal workouts on Friday and Monday. Nothing like training with like minded people. And GQ...

I just need to know what kind of outdoorsy clothes to bring (hiking vs running vs ???), and rain is not an excuse. Tornado, maybe, but not rain.

For those of you looking to fly on the major carriers, grab some Vaseline in light of the recent airline foldings.

Is there a registration page yet, trying to book a flight and don't want to confirm the reservation until I know exactly what is going on.

When are people flying in/out? I was thinking of coming in last Thursday and leaving Monday.

For those who missed it mentioned/updated in another thread since registration cost hasn't directly been mentioned in this thread:

registration = $175
hotel rate = $59/night
airfare or fuel = $arm or leg
(add your "priceless" option here)

Who wants to road trip and/or split a room?

Rob, Bacardio, I will see you at the airport!

Hope it works for you, Neil. It would be great to drink a few beers with you again (though we'll have to change your brand this time ... )

I haven't had a drink in 60some days. I may not make it past drink #4 this year.

(and yes, I will be driving, but I am going to be choosy about who gets to ride in my car. )

So you're going for the alcoholic Shirley Temples this year then?

Since trip schedules are being posted:

Wed 5/28 - Leave CLT if and only if I find crash space between Asheville and Nashville; otherwise...
Thurs 5/29 - Leave CLT and dead-head to LR; at roughly 775 miles, guesstimating 12 hours on the road including stops; anyone along the route is welcome to hop in (major cities: Asheville, Knoxville, Nashville, Memphis)
Fri-Sun 5/30-6/1 - Complete, total, utter debauchery
Mon 6/2 - Dead-head back to CLT

Of course, all this gets blown to hell if I have to go pick up Mahler

Yyyyyyyyyyyyeah, I need to go invest in a luggage system as I only have a Dyna and not a Road King (yet).

(Actually, I'm driving my truck out there, so no Harley. Maybe another year. It'd be pretty cool to rumble up to JP's building and walk in there with all my gear on )

From what I hear it's looking better by the day, Rob. Should find out soon(ish)

Since I've been working for the government, the problem is that decisions can't be made on the spot. It all has to go up the chain of command then onto HR in London and filtered back down. It literally takes weeks to get simple decisions made.

Whoa... Neil can't come to Little Rock without the Queen's approval. You're more important than I thought!
