Got nobody else to tell.
Yesterday and today I hit my push/pull short term goals I set when I got back into the gym. 275x3 on the bench and 455x3 on Deads. I crushed the bench, hitting it for 3 sets before I increased the weight but only hit 2. They may of been "short" term, but they were numbers I couldnt even hit in my past prime so it signals a new chapter in my lifting days. Thanks to all who follow my log and encouraged me getting back into it since my absence. Next is that pesky squat!

Congratualtions on achieving your goals, but Steve, seriously, past prime? You're 21yrs old! You don't get to talk about a past prime until you're at least 35.

hah cynic, what I meant by past prime was me at my strongest before I took that long stink where the only lifting I did was 12 oz curls.

Got it! I hit that skid too last year. I'm on my way back though.

I don't think it's 35 either. Of course I did just blow an intestine which could mean my bodies not holding up like it used to. Minor things. I don't think 35 is past your prime either.

This is only the beginning, Steve. Congratulations, my friend.

Well, I chose 35 as minimum, since it's past the physical prime for a man. It's not a big decline from the pivotal point, but it is a starting point.
