I've decided for now on I'm only going to go by what http://www.mybodycomp.com/ tells me my body fat is. It seems a lot simpler yet detailed and it matches the mirror the most, for me anyway. Who else uses this? I got the site from a poster here like...when I first registered so I can't remember who it was, but hopefully I can pass it along to some other people out there. Since they have changed the site I can't find the description that goes into detail on their methods but I'll state what I accurately remember. It is a procedure done by measuring tape to different sites on your body and calculated into a formula which was based off of water submersion testing. Results with the testing sites and their measurements put into this equation were compared to water submersion body fat measurements and proven to be very accurate with each other. This is my favorite testing to do, I do it first thing when I wake up, my body fat is currently at 12% based off my measurements and the calculator. My body fat reads a few percents lower on calipers and tanita although going by the mirror I place more faith in 12% than I do 8%.
Anyways if you used this please give your take on it (whether positive or negative) and if you haven't used it try it out, it's FREE! (I sound like a commercial don't I)

woah, did the interface change? mmm long time I haven't gone to that site. I don't remember it like that...mmm It says I had 13.53% BF. But since ive never cared to measure it before I couldn't tell ya what its like compared to other methods. I find the process pretty interesting though.

I have used it before and for me so far it has been pretty close to calipers.
Downside to it is of course accuracy in measurements. It would be ok if you had a body tape measure, which I don't, so that you could guarantee the same tension on each measurement.

I don't like it. It says I have 17% bodyfat. I must have measured a lot of parts wrong, because by looking at me I'm closer to 12-13%. I'll stick with my Tanita scale, it makes me feel better .

I tried that site a while back and the problem with it, as someone mentioned, is that you have to take very precise tape measurements which can be hard to do. However, I think it's fine to use if you just wanna judge your progress. In that case, any one method is fine to use as long as you are being consistent with that method and seeing progress.

I'm the opposite I'll stick with www.mybodycomp.com. My EKS bf scale puts me around 30% and has for months. POS.
