foam rolling contraindications
Hello Everyone,
I did a little bit of google searching about foaming contraindications and found a few:
-diabetics with lower limb circulation problems
-people with osteoporosis
-pregnant women
-people with hypertension
Now I am wondering the "why" behind these restrictions. I work with pregnant women and don't see any reason why they couldn't foam roll (assuming the position for the exercise is appropriate, etc.). I think they would benefit from foaming, especially the posterior chain (calves, hams, glutes). What am I missing? What about the other conditions? Can any of you explain the "why" for these restrictions?
Thanks a lot.
