I just thought it was an important article for beginners to know and help with exercise selection, so I posted it. Plus it's T-Nation, so I thought it would be a good source for beginners to have. I don't know anything about the author of the article though except that the "about area" at the end of the article says that he is the Director of the National Personal Training Institute of VA.

I'm not so sure about the content of this article. First, it over-complicates things for a beginning lifter. It doesn't clarify information. It makes it impossible to get your mind around. Second, I'm pretty sure several of the items are actually incorrect information.

Thanks for the update Lisa. Thought it might be some good info in that article, but as always you have to read everything with caution from T-nation.

Lisa>t-nation articles

I was actually thinking the same thing. Kinda a weird article, the average trainee doesn't need to memorize all the syngergists of all the hamstring/tricep movements.

T-nation hasn't released many good articles for a while now...

There's only so many ways you can say "lift heavy/hard, eat well, and get enough rest" before it gets repetitive. They run about 260 articles a year, not that much new info out there.

Good point, but I still think their articles have been going wayyy down in quality lately.

Oh okay. Thanks for letting me know that the information is not correct. Next time I will not trust any training article unless its from someone like robertson, boyle, cressey, cosgrave, always, hartman, and thats probably about it. I thought just because this was posted on T-Nation, I thought it was good information. I guess I cannot trust everything posted at T-Nation and especially by authors I have no idea about.
