Default Long Term Goal Achieved

Friends,
I debated on whether or not to post this as a separate item, because it's already in my training log and in the squat thread. It somehow smacks of grandstanding, but I am pretty excited about it.

On Monday, with the help of Alwyn Cosgrove's program, I completed a 370 pound squat.

Combined with my 225 pound bench (pathetic) and my 405 pound deadlift, I have now joined the 1,000 pound club (just barely).

This has been a long time goal of mine.
Thanks.

Great job, John. You always trumpet others' achievements, so nothing wrong with tooting your own horn.

(You also do a fine job of passive-aggressive insulting when requested by certain people )

Whew, for a second I thought you were gonna say you now weigh 1,000 pounds.

I sure as hell wasn't gonna buy you dinner at the summit if that was the case. Not that I will now either.

Good work.
