So at college, I do all of my workouts on dumbells, but when I come home, I will be working out on a bench there and using a bar. I dont want to take up too much of your time, but briefly, are there any strong disadvantages to switching from Dumbells To Bar??

There are no disadvatange switching from dumbbells to bars. There's more advatages in changing to bars. For the short time that you are at home (I am assuming summer break).

I agree--no big disadvantages. The bar allows a bit more loading (weight), but the dumbbells require a bit more stability/balance. Switching back and forth is a good idea.
