Sweating
I did a search but didn't find much to answer to my question so here goes . . .
Last year I used to sweat a lot during my workouts however now I rarely break a sweat. I am doing the Hypertrophy workouts and lifting heavy, I can feel my heartrate zipping around but no sweat. I don't do cardio for more than a few minutes and rarely long enough to get sweaty.
Good? Bad? What do y'all think?

I rarely sweat during my workouts, esp lifting, esp during lower rep work. Heart rate is up, but it's not sustained, plus heartrate only has so much to do with body temp, and sweating is a matter of body temp and hydration levels.

I rarely sweat in my workouts as well (female). As far as guys go, I see them sweat all the time and some sweating like crazy. It depends on the room temp, how hard your working (resting times and sets/reps), and your heart rate. Guys sweat way more than girls.

I used to sweat so bad, I quite literally left puddles where I stood. My towel would be totally soaked.
I think there is some adaptation to it. Now that the CNS is fired up and getting worked, I think you're running less hot.

I sweat now more than ever,by the end of my workout i am shaking, sweating and feeling like i want to drop to the floor.
The day i feel like that is the day i give up,i sometimes feel nervous about the next session even after 6 years.

Anyone who thinks guys sweat more than girls is talking out of her ass.
My heart rate goes up, the sweat glands activate. My current workout, which keeps my heart rate up through the program, are a killer.
Hockey? I'm dripping like Niagara Falls washed over me.
But when I'm doing a strength phase with few heart-rate spikes, aside from cardio, not so much.

Really depends. With metabolic strength training I sweat quite a bit. With pure strength training I don't sweat as much...or somethings don't even sweat at all.

Thanx for the replies. I find it odd that I rarely sweat anymore when I was such a mess before but feel validated that it isn't impacting the quality of my workout as long as my heart rate is up.

The engine is running more efficiently.

What routines were you doing last year that made you sweat so much? You said you're doing hypertrophy now, which might be lower reps than what you did before.
High rep stuff makes me drip with sweat. Lower rep stuff just makes me glisten.

At least you aren't claiming to glow
I usually sweat a LOT more when doing lower- or full-body stuff. Upper-body just makes me, well, glisten
