My legs never got bigger until I dropped the leg extensions and took up squats.

My arms never got bigger until I dropped curls and tricep pressdowns and replaced them chins, rows, and presses.

Ha ha. How could I break up with a guy that actually bought me the Olympic set for Christmas?

The best was, we saw them at sears and a couple different stores said all they have is the display model and would not sell it and we would have to order it. He went back after I was sleeping and talked the manager into taking it off the wall and selling to him!

Kevin, that is fantastic. It's pretty sad that I can think of specific screen names of a couple of those characters and find the rest in minutes on a few of the boards I go to.

Eric Heiden had him some decent wheels. Good ideas here: Physical Strategies by Tom Furman » Training Methods of Eric Heiden

Hey. People are always saying that I have thick legs, so I'll just tell you what kind of leg stuff I do (all are bodyweight exercises). They worked for me; maybe they will work for you.
Glute-ham raise, squat jumps (i have like a gazillion variations of jumps), bear crawl, lunges, sprints, jumprope, wall sits, pistols, tread water (eggbeatering).
As for exercises in the weight room, I can't help you there because I rarely work out in the gym. I usu. train at my school's track or the playground =)
