Default werkit.com training logs - site up

For a long time I've looked for decent pre-made workout log sheets only to find crap and more crap. So, Otto and I have made our own, and we're willing to share. Hence this post.

Werkit Workout Logs

At the moment there's blank weightlifting logs, some cardio logs for single workouts or bricks, and some pages to track food and other stuff (weight, measurements, etc).

I'm currently working on getting up New Rules for Women specific logs and will have them up by the end of the weekend. (as discussed in this thread, it seems there's an interest)

By the end of the week I'll have up the original New Rules Logs, and we'll be adding in stuff for TAP and other books on hand.

The generic content currently available is available to all. For specific logs I'll need to be pm'd, as they contain the info in the book, so not just any Suzy or Joe on the web can see them, they're restricted.

Currently the logs we have are "classic" size, meaning 1/2 a letter-sized page. They're meant to fit in classic sized dayplanners and binders, which are readily available at most office supply joints.

To most easily print use acrobat and print directly onto cut paper (many office supply joints will cut paper, one cut is usually a buck).
If you plan on hole punching for binders, I've found it's easiest to punch before printing, since the printer tends to curl or otherwise distort the paper.
If you're looking to find a 7 hole punch for the pages to fit in classic binders, Frankin Covey has one, I'm sure other places do to, that's just where we got ours.

Any questions you can ask here, I just don't want to further hijack Lou's thread.

Same here...

Wow, these look great. Thanks, A & O.

I noticed Otto mentions custom pages. How would I go about taking him up on that?

PM or email Aoife (the webmaster at werkit dot com email goes to us both). You'd be first, so we'll have to wing it.

Email me. Let me know what you're looking for. If it's just something simple like "my trainer gave me this workout, can you make a log of it" it won't be a problem and I can get it done real quick-like. If you'd like something more like a whole new look or other kinds of pages, it'll take a bit, but I can do it. Right now I'm on vacation, so I have time. I can give better time estimates when I know the project.

And if anyone has any input, feel free to pm/email/say something here. These are mainly designed for our use at the moment, hence some of the fields in some of the logs. Since I do want these to be useful for others as well, if you find them lacking something or that there's something you'd wish were different, it'd be helpful to know.

Those really look great Aoife!

I may actually want to start using these in my gym. I have been experimenting with various versions of workout logs with my bootcamp logs and my client training logs.

Do you have a version that I can download that I can modify? There are just a few tweaks that I need to make based on the warm-up section. I am going to to try it.

I'm gonna check this out when I get home! Would be awsome to have something calculating tonnage and stuff like that. But I dunno if that's in there as I haven't checked them out yet.

That's great, guys!!! Thanks, so much! I'll mock one up and send it along later today.

One thing I did for a while was get a bunch of them gum bound together at kinko's or something to make tear off pads of daily meal tracker sheets. I always thought having pads of those for a gym was a good idea.

It's taking a bit longer than anticipated to get NR4W up. I'll post when it is, should be tonite sometime. It'll only be stages 1, 2 & 3 tonight, but who's farther than that?

Default New Rules for Women logs up

Stages 1, 2, and 3 are up for New Rules for Women at Werkit Workout Logs. If you'd like a set, please pm or email Otto or me and we'll get to work on verifying you (eventually will be automated @ site)

The blank logs are still easy to get on the main page, and we'll get up the rest of the NR logs as soon as I get them done.
