Agreed. I'm fine with just one DL chart anyway.

Got the 110kgx1 I was rooting for all year.

That's 110 @ 62.4 = 1.76
(or in lbs: 242.3 @ 137.4 = 1.76)

Even tried 112.5 but since it took so much out of my back, I put the bb back after just 5cm, since I knew that form was off. I'd rather focus on improving technique in the next 3months and then try again.

BTW, it was the first time I used a belt for DL. No straps used (they hinder me, instead of helping, as grip is even worse with straps)
The effort was done like this
50x6
60x6 (was supposed to be x5)
70x4
80x3
90x1
100x1
110x1
and then 112.5xF

Someone mentioned this thread in my log so I just had to play with weights today to see what my max might be. Last dead workout (NR4W), I did 3 x 8 x 175#.

Did some lighter warmups, then:

1 x 185#
1 x 205#
1 x 225#
1 x 230#
Went kerploop after that.

That was fun! Bodyweight today was 204#.

Thanks, Mahler & Paula.

After some egging on, I did another attempt tonight.

1 x 225#
1 x 230#
1 x 245# -- failed
1 x 240#
1 x 250# -- failed
1 x 245#
1 x 250# -- failed

Not the most intelligent progression but I made the 245#. Bodyweight today was at 199#. No gloves, belt, or anything but me and a mixed grip, as always.

Fantastic effort Diane!

What is the coefficient here? Weight lifted divided by BW?

Two days ago, I did my first multiple-rep DL with a weight of over 100kg.

Workout was not an attempt to do a max lift, just wanted to see if I could do 105 kg for reps in a double wave

50x5
70x5
80x4
1st wave
90x4
95x3
100x2

2nd wave
95x4
100 (3RM)x3
then I put on a belt and got :
105 (1RM)x3

Without a belt I may have gotten just 1 or perhaps 2 reps. Never thought using a belt would make such a difference. More actually than straps, which invariably made me feel weaker instead (making things thicker = far worse grip than without straps).

Supposedly the 105x3 should predict a 1RM of nearly 117kg. Considering that 110 is my current 1RM I might try to get 115kg next month or try to do 2-3 reps for 107.5 kg instead. Haven't decided yet which one of the 2.

BW at time of attempt: 63.3 kg, making coeff for 105 = 1.66.

When I first read this board (about 5 months ago) I was in complete awe at this thread and the strong women who entered it.

I am going to enter this thread today with a 200lb at 132.8 (1.5) and join your ranks

Of course now my goal is to strive for that 1.7 or higher.

My grattitude to you and all the others who have been here for me supporting me on this journey. This board has been an amazing personal trainer. I think I still have a long way to go but am quite happy with the progress as of today.
