HA! Not that anyone openly acknowledges!
Ryan, I have family in B'ham, but I don't live there. Good luck in the competition again this year! You put up some great pictures and video after the competition last year. I hope you'll be able to do that again.

Very cool! Thanks for the link! I'm watching now. Do you happen to know when Ryan is scheduled to lift?

I think I just missed him. I was d/l the player. When I started watching, the lifter was Zack, then Jordan. Bummer!
It's still cool that they did streaming video!

Ryan got 107kg on his C&J. He missed his 3rd attempt at 110kg. His snatch was 82kg (which I didn't get to see ), so he finished with 189. Good job Ryan.
Thanks for letting us know about the competition! It was great to get to see you on streaming video! Can't wait to hear what you thought about it all.

I just got back. Thanks to everyone who watched.
I was a little dissappointed with my snatches I made 82 in the warmups before I went out.
Clean and Jerks went well 107 Kg was National Stage PR and 110Kg was competition best 'clean' . All considering that I have not squatted more than 110kg in 8 months its not so bad. Once I get back to squatting heavy my lift will go way up.
The most impressive thing I saw at the AO was a 16 year old 58kg lifter who made 67 Snatch and just missed an 85 or 90 clean and jerk. The American Schoolage record is 92.5 on the Clean and Jerk. She apparently back squats 140 and fronts 125. Heres a clip of her max cleans in training YouTube - Bre_cleans

Wow, 95kg clean! She's amazing. That little victory dance is sooo cute. It shows how young she is!
