LM, several times today like after lunch, shower, tv breaks, etc, I thought about smoking like I used to do just to remember that I quit. These are the hardest times. Hang in there you too, it's for a very good reason!

they gave patches to my friend when he did the zyban thing...but that might be outside the norm.

hang in there man. it's likely not ever to go away, but the cravings will come less often...so at least you have that.

Dad's short a lung and can't really use the other one. No good can come from smoking.

It's really hard and I'm getting down. After I got sick last week I lost some of my motivation to keep working out and it really bothers me because I know it's the best thing for myself and my family. It's so damn hard!!!!!!!!!!!!
Being out of shape is far worst than any fitness routine you do. You're maybe at an age where you can still rely on your youth do enjoy life without workouts but it won't last. And the more you wait the harder it will be to "get back into it"

Maybe what you find hard is the intensity and after being sick.. you might really need to "ease" back into it. If you can do what Buk says.. go for it.. but if not.. just start with a minium.. do the 9 push-ups.. and stop.. now.. you can't "not do that" it's easy.. then.. à little later do something else that's "easy".. and go on like that.. another day.. you're body will be wanting to do more! and you'll just need to follow!

and tomorrow's a new year! things will be fine
