Default Waterbury routines and chinups

Ive been going through Muscle Revolution for a few months now and its going great, ive done some of Chad's programs before but never this many back to back.

I know the importance of changing up exercises and set/rep routines, but one thing ive noticed is that in alot of his routines (Waterbury Method, Art of Waterbury, SOB Training, Hybrid Hypertrophy), he pretty much always uses Chinups with set of 3 reps (6-10 sets) at 80-85% of 1RM. I really enjoy the programs, but im wondering if its a problem doing chinups all the time with very similar set/rep schemes?

If you stop progressing then it's a problem. If you're progressing in your goals, then it's not a problem.

I've been working my way through Muscle Revolution also, and am really liking it. If two consecutive programs both feature chin ups, I switch it up between supinated and neutral grip chins. It's been working well for me.

You may also want to check the MR forum to see if this have been discussed there.
