Default Muscle Imbalance Correction Book?

I’m looking for a book on how to correct muscle imbalances, any suggestions?

I have some issues in this department and I would like to combine my upcoming bulk with some good correction exercises. I imagine this book would also cover some flexibility issues, which could also be very helpful.

Hard to bitch about $5. It's funny but it's one of the nicer MH books IMO.

It's not a book, but the 2006 Summit DVD with Bill Hartman covers this subject well, especially if you're an audio-visual learner. I think most people around here agree that Bill's the go-to guy when it comes to correcting imbalances.

Interesting book recommendation, Tony. I'm not familiar with that one. The price definitely makes it worth a look.

All good leads.

G, that book is an interesting find. And a relatively long review -- and good rating -- from Mohamed F. El-Hewie. Interesting that he commented on this book.

Although not a book on muscle imbalance per se, I also like Gray Cook's "Athletic Body in Balance."

Better Body Blueprint is one of the better books that no one talks about.

I was looking through this one a bit at Barnes & Noble, I'm going to have to take a second look withouit the baby. It's too hard to really take a good look with a 10 month old, lol...

BTW - You're not the only person that has said that BBBB is a good book.

Can you describe what you mean by muscle imbalance? What's your concern?

After call, you're reading this from the guy that tied for high score on Bill Hartman's assessment at JP's summit last year. And I'm as weak as a girl (a weak one, at least).

EDIT: OK, so I just packaged up an amazon order: BBBP, Dos' book coming out this month, and De Bono's Teach Your child How to Think (really for all ages, child through adult; for $10, really worth getting). So, whenever Dos' book actually is ready, I'll get them all.

That is a loaded question.

First, are you sure that the problem, for which you are seeking solution, is truly muscular in origin?

Second, what made you think that exercise would render a solution?

Third, what age group, type of sport, and duration of the problem for which you are seeking solution, are you main focus?

A book I found to be great would be Grey Cook's Athletic Body in Balance.

Amazon.com: Athletic Body in Balance: Books: Gray Cook

I have not bought it yet, but it was recommended for me to get it and I am getting it tomorrow at borders. I read the reviews on it at amazon. 5 stars =)

I think the textbook referenced the most in regards to this may be Sahraman textbook.

Quick word about Better Body Blueprint: The $5 bargain edition is no longer available. You have to click on the page for the regular paperback, then decide if you want to buy one new for $13.95, or used for as little as $2.95 (last time I looked).

This is OT, but it's weird how the links for all those Rodale books still take you to the "bargain price" version, even though they sold out those books months and months ago. I'm just glad they never put out Book of Muscle in paperback!

Will this help with pinkie imbalances? It's a nightmare to hold a tea cup properly when your pinkie is all out of whack.
