Default weight issues

hey ive been counting 4 egg whites in the morning, as like 240 calories
something tells me that thats probably not right being i took out the yolk
how much is 4 egg whites??

maybe thats why im not gaining so much weight
ive been trying to eat a 2400 calories everyday and i do it
but somehow my weight wavers around 112 all the way to 117

i did succesfully gain around 12 pounds this summer so i guess ive been doing good...

4 egg whites (depending on the egg) is only like 100cals.

Eat the yolks!

Yeah about 100 cals. The yolks are good for you.

Still, 12 pounds over the summer is pretty damn good. Keep it up.

And the yolk is the best part! The whole "don't eat the yolk" thing is kind of overrated IMO.

my sister (whos a little heavy) yells at me when i eat 4 yolks
"what the hell is wrong with you!!! you know how much cholesterol is in that friggin thing!!"

so its not that bad? especially for me? cause im small?
thanks
i guess ill start eating better right away -im pissed i might be bigger if i didnt listen to her

and a question about working out
im now beginning the 3 phase of the scrawny to brawny book (i made it all the way here!)
in this phase im suppose to do sets in 2 waves
4 sets 3 sets 2 sets: 2 wave -4 3 2
im suppose to lift a bit more than my 2rm in the last wave at the end
so i end up lifting more each time going up
what is the 2rm? 95% of my 1rm?

problem is a bit more of my 2rm is my 1rm and i cant lift that twice

so i lift the 95% -2rm and i work my way up to it lifting 10 more pounds each set in 2 waves
so if my 2rm is 100
first wave= 4x70 3x80 2x90
second= 4x80 3x90 2x100
-but it doesnt hurt at all in the first wave -it seems easy and the second wave begins to hurt only a little in the last set in the last wave

am i doing something wrong or maybe its just the first week and it will start hurting as i lift more and gain more

Dietary cholesterol has minimal impact on blood cholesterol. Sorta like eating fat dosen't make you fat. I would only suggest being careful if you already have high cholesterol.

Plenty of evidence to support this.

dietary cholesterol effects certain people more than others.

I eat 4-5 whole eggs every day+whites. I sautee green peppers and onions in some olive oil, then i throw in 4-5 eggs+some whites, some spinach, and then some cream cheese. SOOOOOO good.

sod the cholestrol depending on your goal one egg yolk could be a whole days additional dietary fat intake. OK on a bulk if you dont want to add too much poundage then you could get away with a couple but nutritionaly speaking its not all that great and could be negating a far better calorie or fat source

I agree with you, in principal. I always decide what to eat based on how satisfying and nutritionally valuable it is, I have to disagree on the value of the yolk.

A typical yolk is 4.5g of fat, of which only 1.6g is saturated fat (36%). 2g is monounsaturated (44%). .7g is polyunsaturated (16%). Given that most health minded men don't get enough saturated fat these days, this is a pretty good choice of fats.

IMO, of course.

And, he does want to be bigger, too.

And, don't be pissed at her. Be pissed at the media and the govt., both of which are quick to tell you what's bad for you, but slow to take it back.

Margarine is bad, too. So is shortening. Butter and lard are better choices, ironically. But, no one tells you that, huh?
