I ordered the Force model on the 4th. I chose it because I was intrigued by the "Military Fitness Guide", which is included with it. As Roland has said, there's no difference in the material or quality of the two models, the only real difference between the two is the materials that come with it. He purchased the Professional model and, when he looked at the on-line sample pages for the "Military Fitness Guide", figured that the program had about a 95% overlap. That gave me some comfort that I did not overreach too much in purchasing the Force model.
I ordered mine on the 4th and have not received a shipping confirmation yet. I noticed that UConnJulie ordered hers a week ago and still hasn't received a shipping notice. That part is disappointing.....I want mine NOW!

The Military/First Responder version is brown and black. So when you're exercising in the desert on field maneuvers and get bushwhacked, they won't damage your expensive fitness system with all them bullets.
The Professional is yellow and black, which allows you to blend in amongst sunflowers, daylilies, and daisies.
I use mine in the house. The yellow brings the sunshine inside and warms my soul.

Thanks guys.... I am ordering the pro bundle with the nifty DVDs (I don't need none of that thar military shyte, seeing as I am in the friggin military, LOL!).
Good times, good times.
I ordered the TRX Pro Bundle 1 on June 30th ... I've received TWO order confirmation emails from them but no shipping info yet ... I agree Egham, that is VERY disappointing!! I am used to Amazon and LLBean who ship within hours sometimes. Bummer.

i think i'm going to get the professional system sooner or later. i've wanted to get this, but now that i moved and had to leave my cage and weights in storage i think that it's going to bump up the timing of me buying it.
i know that perform better sells the trx system, although their site has been down for a few days now...
Has anyone actually spoken to anyone at this place? I would like to get this sometime before Xmas.... all of these order confirmations sans shipping worry me.
Just wondering, what is the difference between the TRX system and the Jungle Gym II? They look the same, but the Jungle Gym seems to be a lot cheaper
TRX is a lot more adjustable, for one. It's a lot longer, so when it's attached to a door or tree, for instance, you can do flat pushups or rows with your body parallel to the ground. With the Jungle Gyms, you are pretty much limited to the angle you see in that picture.
TRX has loops underneath the handles, so you can hook your feet into them as well. With your feet in there, you can do things like handstand pushups at a variety of angles, suspended pikes, etc.
The TRX has locking length adjustments, with quick release buckles, allowing you to change the lengths very quickly, without taking it down from the wall/door/tree.
Honestly, with the Jungle Gym II (or Blast Straps), you could probably do a lot of the flat to the ground exercises in something like a powerrack, but most people don't have those at home. TRX is more flexible for home/backyard use.
Finally, the TRX is cool. Special Forces Navy Seals cool, man! Military and First Responders (??) use 'em! Have you even seen Transformers? Those guys kicked ass and took names. They must have had a TRX or two out there in Qatar, lying in wait, saving the world and shit from Decepticons!
Blast Straps are another option. Similar to the Jungle Gym II, I think, but cooler because Powerlifters, like Dave Tate, use 'em! Plus, they're all metally and clanky. Way more manly! Plus, John Berardi uses them. And, he's one smooth guy. Wanna be big ass strong and/or one smooth mofo?
Finally, you can Macgyver one up yourself with rope or webbing and some sort of handles. Gotta love Macgyver! He needed nothing but a pull tab, two old batteries, a potato, and a good script to save the day.
Were all big pretenders, here. Right? So, decide what or who you're pretending to be and be it. I'm not so big, not Powerlifter strong, a few steps away from smoooooth, and I avoid potatoes, so my decision was made!

I just got my shipping confirmation, if you guys still have not received anything I would give them a call. Only took them about 2 days seeing as how I ordered fairly late on Friday and most of the time they do not process on Saturday or Sunday
Mine should be here on the 16th. I was order number 5xxx so maybe they just did not have any in stock and sent a shipment to everyone who ordered Tuesday.
Wooooohooooo....ordered my TRX Force Training Kit today....so bad a$$!!!
They only offer UPS-Ground....urgh!!! I'm hoping it gets here around the time Tina gets hers. I think that's the last of us, isn't it? Anyone else planning on getting one soon?
Jill, start gettin' that challenge ready!

What a great way to motivate someone to choose a discipline. Pick a favourite sprinter, gymnast, powerlifter, bodybuilder, ballet dancer, karate kid or whatever and try to be like them.
