Mahler’s Monday Morning Motivator # 48: Carrying the light.
Good Morning, guys.
The human male seems to have a short attention span where fitness is concerned. Of the many guys who were all “gung ho” on January 1 when they decided to make a change in their fitness level, some were already just “gung” by January 10 and by January 17 their resolutions are just “ho” as in “ho-hum.”
For those that hang in there, the payoff will come, but rewards are the offspring of resolve.
This is true for all ages.
As a youth, our many pursuits hinder us,
As we get older, life just gets in the way.
As we age, we often lose the will to try.
Where the body is concerned,
what may seem miraculous in later years
is possible in middle age
and is probable in youth.
But all is reality if only you make it so.
Stay the course and continue the journey. There is no light at the end of the tunnel. You carry the light with you.

Here are a few quotes from a famous leadership speaker, John C. Maxwell, to spur you on.
"The secret of our success is found in our daily agenda."
"The happiest people are those who have harvested their time in others. The unhappiest people are those who wonder how the world is going to make them happy."
"Our attitude is the primary force that will determine whether we succeed or fail."
"Nothing is as hard as it looks; everything is more rewarding than you expect; and if anything can go right it will and at the best possible moment."
"A big man is one who makes us feel bigger when we are with him."
"The secret of successful people lies in their ability to discover their strengths and to organize their life so that these strengths can be applied"

Have a great week, and just hang in there.
