German archaeologists recently deciphered a marble tablet found at the Roman town of Alexandria Troas (Turkey). What was the Roman secret creating the best Olympians? Flogging them for poor performance.
It seems that little has changed over the last two millenia - sex and drugs are favorite pastimes for athletes:
