Default 50 inch box squat

Goal 50 inch box jump
Right now I can land a 45 inch box jump from sitting down on a box and pausing. I could probably get 47 inches. Hopefully I will be able to hit 50 inches after 3-4 weeks. Also looking at being able to 37 inch box jump from 6 feet away from box (currently I can land the jump from 5‘6 inches away). I think this will be decent numbers for a height of 5’7 and very short legs.
Training 6-8-07
Single leg broad jumps
Power behind neck push press
Single leg box jumps
Distance box jumps
Kneeling jump squats (with pre-stretch and pause)

Thanks

That is a pretty impressive jump, especially for 5'7". I tried them recently and managed to get my fat ass to land on a 42" platform from a flat-footed position. I could probably eek out another inch or two with a step-in. I'm 5'9", and I look NOTHING like you do in your avatar.

Why are you going behind the neck on your push-press?

behind neck push press preference for the most part
i can use more weight as well , i move the bar straight up opposed to the arching motin that occurs when the movement begins to the front

after 3-5 weeks i will probably perform movement in front

Funny thing happened to me a couple of years ago when i was Olympic lifting i almost knocked my self out when performing split style jerk
bar hit me in chin, luckily i am used to getting hit

thanks
