The thing about this book is if you get it for free, you have to promise donate it back to nature by eating it, and defecating it into a hole in your back yard. This would level out any disturbances in the balance of The Force.

edit: with all of my inane comments in here, maybe separate threads SHOULD be made for each review

Let me pass that on to the board of directors. I have a feeling they'll demand a black bar over the actual "point of exit", but other than that you should be golden. Or golden brown, at least.

I've been dialogging with Oldguy and he mentioned something similar. Maybe moving the entire "Gobbla's Guides" thread series in the FAQ section vs the main forum.

The only problem I have with separate threads would be forum clutter. I don't know how much dialog each post dump will create. If I could be be a moderator for this single thread, editing the "master post" wouldn't be a big deal when a new review is added. Something along those lines would have to happen regardless if their were a master listing...or if one of the current mods wanted to update it, that would obviously be fine as well.

It's something that will likely need to be addressed at some point, might be best just to see what happens for right now. Maybe it WON'T be a big deal. Our forum god (JP) might weigh in if he has direction.

One minor change I'd like to make is that The new reviews will be posted on TUESDAY. Monday is Mahlers deal and we'll leave it that way.

Forum clutter? Come on, you've been in off topic.

I could set something up like the MMMM archive for links to the threads. The reason I like separate threads is someone can find the review for a specific book without scrolling through a thread a few hundred posts long.

I was just trying to be nice! See if that happens again! It's on now bitches. Sounds like a good plan. New thread w\ a master link list "somewhere". I think the FAQ section would be best for now, after it builds up steam and if people really are interested then it could be moved for easier access at a different place.

A great beginning, Tony.
It seems well thought out and organized to address the primary points which you wanted to stress. The review is straightforward and even though you obviously liked the book, you didn't fall into the trap of having a virtual wet dream over it. You also didn't seem to have a problem pointing out flaws along with the good points. Nice going.

Great idea, Gobbla. You have the perfect personality for a critic - someone who's gives credit when credit is due, but is not afraid to ruffle someone's feathers by providing negative feedback. Wrap it all in some humor, and there you go.

I enjoyed the first review, and I'll be looking forward to reading more.

BTW, will you review my dissertation; "Examining the Boundaries of the Levantine Aurignacian"? 400 pages of statistics, esoteric literature review, scatterplots, and theoretical explorations into the complex interrelationships of stone tools, mankind, climate, demography, and settlement patterns.

Personally, I can't wait for the movie to open ...

Great review! Fair, objective and the product was looked at with a critical mind frame. Definitly will be good to come and read up on further reviews of products and materials.

One thing I think it is awesome Alan came in to read the review and respond. Thats what makes this site so awesome some of the best at what they do come here to respond.

Awesome idea! I think Peter Jackson would suffice for the big screen adaptation. A trilogy - each segment about 4 hours long (6 hours for extended DVD versions) :p

So, Alan, moving to the next step beyond broader education, what do you then tend recommend for attaining particular results from nutrition, either losing fat or adding muscle?
Actually, I have it on excellent authority that the average lower leg weighs about ten pounds!
