I heard Mike Robertson recently underwent one of their certifications and thought there was a lot of good info there. I've been intrigued since the t-nation article on it way back when.

I've been intrigued too. Here's Mike's blog post about Z-Health. Here's the T-Nation article if anybody wants to look at it again. That was the first I'd heard of Z-Health and when I first thought it sounded interesting.
This is something I want to hear more about for sure. I took a look at their website and the sample videos were interesting. Here are the ones I liked:
http://www.zhealth.net/datalibrary/clip3.upper_body.mov
http://www.zhealth.net/datalibrary/clip1.neck.mov
And I found this article with a description and discussion of a Z-Health lumbar exercise.
Those things can at least give us an idea of what it's all about.

I'm a fan of Z and have a few Z products. It is a completely different way of looking at the body so the more perspectives you have the better coach you'll be.

Josh Henkin brough Z-health to my attention about 2 years ago on another board. It defintely is a plus in your training arsenal to learn the concepts and be able to apply it in situations. However, I would add, as Josh woudl agree with me, that a foundational knowledge of joint kinematics and exercise application will enhance your Z-health understanding.

I've got a ton of brochures, PDFs, and email exchanges with Kathy and Dr. Cobb saved on my computer, as we're hosting them for certifications at Excel in Boston on June 8-10 and August 10-12. If you are interested in getting more information, shoot me an email at ericcressey@hotmail.com and I'll hook you up with the info.
Honestly, my biggest determining factor in deciding to do this was a chat with Mike Robertson. I asked him if he could unequivocally state that the money spent on Z-Health would earn me more money in the long-term than the cost of the certification, and he said yes without hesitation. So, to me, it's an investment, not an expense.

Funny, John... Josh Henkins is the one who turned me on to it as well. Then Newman followed up with a DVD (which I still have not watched). I will learn a bit about it, but probably not jump into it until I have earned a few other credentials.

yeah...Josh met with Dr. Cobb and was really turned on to Z-health and talked me and a few others into checking it out. It's great to see this (and other) stuff grow in popularity even though its been around for a while.

Ah I checked out the future locations and seen Boston. Excel is booming with presentations.

Z health looks like pretty solid stuff to me. Our under-mobilized society could certainly use stuff like this.
