exercising 2 days in a row
I have been following "New Rules for Lifting" for the "skinny" guy doing mostly Hypertrophy routines. Currently I in Weeks 22-25 doing Strength I program and am quite pleased with the results.
When I have a program with 4 exercises per week, I sometimes find it hard to get them in all in the same week, especially when having a day between each workout day. I work out in a rather busy gym, especially on Monday thru Thursday. So I try to plan my routines to use the most busy equipment on Friday and Saturday. That saves 30 to 45 minutes on most days.
If I can only do a routine back to back with another is this a big problem as the book suggests, or is it OK when compared to not doing it for a week?
