While I admire someone who can deadlift 600 pounds at age 25, I'm more likely to be inspired by someone like Mahler when he deadlifts 2x405 as a middle-aged guy. I can relate to that more, because I know I might have a shot at doing that as well if I apply myself toward that goal like he did...

I have to admit, my inspiration is Mahler or anyone else who is my age, or more, losing all the fat and pulling the equivalent of tractor truck engines.

I am truly humbled by your comments. Suffice it to say that any inspiration I may provide is but a reflection of the support and encouragement I have recieved on this forum.

Just so everyone who reads this knows, I am not singling anyone out, so there is really no need for anyone to aplogize for anything. Rather than harp on the negative I want to focus on the positive, and as we can all see, there is a LOT of positive in this forum.

Oh yeah!! This is why I and I'm sure many others keep coming back. This forum has a really supportive (and knowledgeable) group of regulars and thats what separates it from most other places I've been to. If everything were to change I would very quickly jump ship.

One small step:

make it a point, at least once each week, to provide some help/info to someone asking or to offer someone some encouragement/compliment -- or offer some of each -- rather than just take part in banter.

If you're ambitious (or spend lots of time here), then do it once per day.

I'll start:

Nick, I thought your ass was looking really hot in those summit pics.

Okay, I'll really start, somewhere else in the forum.

You gotta,
accentuate the Positive.
eliminate the Negative.
latch on to the Affirmative.
And don't mess with mister in-between.

(from an old song, but very appropriate, I think)
