Default Breakdown of Meals...Protein, Carbs, Fat, Etc...

I have a ? regarding the breakdown of meals...

I figured out my calories, protein, fat and carb grams for the day. I plan on eating 6 meals...5 worse case scenario.

How important is it to get he breakdowns near perfect at each mealtime? It is more important to have more protein, more carbs and less fat post workouts?

If I do not get the breakdowns correct on each meal, but at the end of the day I have reached my totals/day...is this still OK, and will this still help me reach my goal of fat loss?

Sometimes I am out and about and cannot count every gram, but can estimate if I am not home.

I am trying to see what the majority of people do without making myself crazy preparing meals all day and counting grams all day.

If I know I have a certain number to reach/day that may work better, but the grams may not breakdown evenly each meal.

Hope I am making some sort of sense.

Thanks!!!!!

It is important within reason, but not so much that you have to be anal about it.

I.e. missing by 10g carbs at one meal is okay. but eating a meal of 90g carbohydrate and 0 fat and 0 protein is not okay.

I think you and I would both agree that you just do the best you can, and you are right, worry about the big pic (daily totals) the most.

Best,
c
