Functional Training Summit Chicago May 11-13

Hey guys,

That’s it, I can’t take it anymore! It’s like being locked down in Alcatraz, I’m stuck in the city of “No Seminar For You!” a.k.a. capital of Canada, Ottawa where nothing ever happens! With all these great summits and seminars going on I’ve decided to pack my snack pack and sign up for the FTS in Chicago

Chicago, May 11-13, 2007 Functional Training Summit, who’s going?

I’m looking for someone to share a room with. I’ve phoned a few places and everything seems to be pretty expensive if you’re going on your own. I’ll be flying in on Thursday evening and leaving on Sunday.

Anybody interested in sharing accommodations?

Why are you not going to the one in Rhode Island? It is so much more closer to you...?

I am going to try to go to the 3-day in Providence, since I missed Boston this year.

I'm tentatively planning on making the Chicago one myself, but I'm staying with a friend. Let's exchange contact info though so we can meet at the summit.

Nah, there really is no point to wait that long.
It's weird how the plane fairs are set up here. It really doesn't make a difference where in the US you're flying to, leaving from Ottawa most fairs will cost around 500 bucks for a round trip. If I want to fly from Ottawa to LA or Boston it'll still cost me around $500+ for a round trip.
So if I wait till June, I’ll end up investing overall around the same amount.

I know which sessions I'm going to, and I sorta planned my thread of workshops, but I can't really think about it until my summit is over. Let me get through this weekend and I will break out the schedule and tell you which ones I am going to. I think we are going to a bunch of the same ones.

I fly in late Friday night and leave Sunday night. Should be a great time. Be sure to introduce yourselves.

They've got my rooming with some guy named Cosgrove. I heard he smells like a dirty Scotsman.

Hey guys, is anybody planing on staying at the Ramada Chicago Hotel? Supposebly it's only 5-10min away from the McCormick Place Convention Center.

Mahler, I'll be there next year. At the time I didn't have enough money saved up. I worked hard and saved up all that I could in order to fly down to Chicago for 4 days.

My passport is ready.
My tickets are in my hands, I'll be arriving in Chicago Thursday evening around 8pm. Haven't booked a hotel yet, looks like i'll be on my own.
