Default workout frequency

Hello guys i need some advice.

I currently am doing 3 total body workouts a week (mon, wed, fri) and cardio on tues, thurs and saturday.

i have been doing this for a while now and have had great success with it in the gains department.

I do listen to my body and its telling me i am doing too much needs more rest, because of my jobs physical nature i do tend to get some overtraining symptoms.

My question is will i continue to see gains if i do two full body workouts and two cardio workouts a week?

My diet is in check and i am eating enough.

Thanks in advance

By gains, you mean what? Are you trying to get bigger, stronger, or both?

If you are so active at work, why the cardio? Do you just like cardio?

What kind of work do you do?

Do you have trouble gaining muscle (assuming you're trying to)? Do you put on fat easily?

There are plenty of reasons that doing less could equal better gains that you are getting now. As Doctor Evil would say, "Need the info."

Trying to put on muscle and i do this quite easily actually, eating enough helps hehehe.

Strength and muscle mass is improving, i would like to stay roughly the size i am now, losing 75 lbs has made me scrawny and i am just filling up again with muscle of course.

Well as for cardio thats my question to myself, i dont like cardio but do it because of its heart benefits (i guess its a habit of just doing it)

Don't have trouble gaining muscle thats easy with me, keeping fat off can be an issue but with diet in check no problems there either.

I am a maintance clerk part time at night at a mall so i do about 20,000 steps a day five days a week. Sometimes my job gets intense.

Play around with the schedule: Take two days off in a row once a week, or drop one HIIT, or one lifting session, or one day off twice a week. I have had to dink around with my schedule from time to time, and depending upon how hard I was working out. Also: are you taking a week or so off every several weeks? NROL says that is important.

Rob i do take 1 week off every 6 weeks.

I think my first move is to remove my cardio and keep my 3 workouts and see how recovery goes like that.

My body only can sleep 6-7 hours a night as it wakes up automatically between 6 am and 7 am i am in bed by 10:30-11pm.
