6x/week intervals? Is that right?
So I note the TT program suggests workouts followed by intervals, and on off days also doing intervals.
So that would make 6x weekly interval training?
is that overkill? Or am I mistaken...

But the core training includes "optional intervals"...and those are alternated w/ the weight workouts that also have intervals...
hence my confusion

Oh, also on the core training, it says:
"extra intervals can be done on this day"....so which is it? I don't want to overtrain but am perfectly willing to bust my ass...

I'd stick to 3 interval sessions per week - work them in whenever you can - either on an off day, on core day or after your TT workout. Try not to overanalyze.

What, the "must be in overdrive 24/7" thing? Trying to break that.

Sure. If you have that level of drive, use it. It's a blessing, provided you still know how to relax when it's time.
I have a hard time slowing down on the gym stuff. I always want to do more. Go to the gym, again. I've moved to shorter workouts that I can do on more days, rather than 3 longer workouts. Doing extra things like complexes keeps my metabolism going, but hasn't seemed to effect my recovery much.

I"m the same way.
the TT workouts almost seem 'skimpy.'....like working back only 1 exercise on alternate workouts, means back gets only 3 sets a week. Is that REALLY enough?
I guess so!!

It is enough. I did great on many TT workouts. It's only when you come from other workouts with so many different exercises that it might seem like "less than enough," But, I'll bet many people are pleased with the simplicity. Plus, with the A/B split, you feel like you make a lot of progress from workout to workout. I did, at least.
