What would be the problem of not supersetting 2 exercises?
I'm doing the Original TT program right now but I'm having some difficulties in finding the squat rack and the pulldown bar available at the same time for the squat/pulldown superset. What would be the problem of doing 3x squats and then 3x pulldowns?
You are losing some of the benefits of the workout as well IMO.
The squat rack you are using...does it have a cross-member you can use for chin/pullups? How about just simply using the barbell as it's racked? May have to bend your knees, but that's ok. Just some ideas.

No cross-member in the rack
I've never done a full unassisted chin-up before, so that's why I'm going with the pullpus... but your idea sounds good, so I'll give it a try. Thanks.
It's something that I've seen that may be completely un-scientifically founded but simply doing straight sets is easier than doing supersets. In addition to being more time-efficient, I seem to get more of a "metabolic response" to doing supersets. You're getting much more of a cardiovascular workout IMO. Harder is better in my experience.
Cut me some slack...I'm trying to defend your protocol.
