the only problem is that it doesn't tell you how to cure tight hips if you have them. lots of us already know by mobility work, but...

True, but.... I thought the easy assessment techniques were worthwhile.
I don't think there are any shortcuts, dammit... mobility work and more mobility work.

Janda sit-ups don't take the hip flexors out of the movement. That's been proven in EMG studies by McGill et al.

Does any kind of sit up take the hip flexors out? Or is that why you see pulldown crunches being recommended a lot for trunk flexion?

Do pulldown crunches even take the hip flexors out of the movement? I've never done them. Properly, anyway.
