This was in '96 or '97 I believe. If he's from Colorado then it might be. Worked alot with the Aspen Gentlemen's Rugby Team, multiple time national champs from which the US team drew some players - which is why he was brought on as their doc.
Just thinking about how those guys would just get wrecked in a match then go out drinking and be at work the next day puts DOMS into perspective

The cool thing about excessive drinking after rugby is that you're never really sure whether you have a concussion or a really bad hangover.

Tony, in response to your protein and kidney entry, I see a lot of people citing The China Study and also the PETA people citing a falicious article that improperly cites several articles to bash protein intake from animal sources.
