I am 28yrs old, 5'8" 170. I think I get an adequate cardio work out (I play Basketball 4x per week) but I do not do any strength training. Now I was a jubby kid and still have a stocky/jubby upper frame. I want to tone my chest (not make it bigger)and lose my beer gut.
I have not lifted weights since I was 15 and played football. What is the best way to begin and what kind of lifting should I do if I want to tone not get bigger? Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks.
