Default Learnt something else today:

My upper body pushing strength sucks! Big time. Haven't done any horizontal pushing exercises for a few weeks now. Today I was supposed to test my 1RM on the bench press. Turns out that my 1RM has not gone up at all. It's stuck at 75kg. 77.5kg got off my chest fast enough, then it got stuck about 3 inches off my chest. I had to bail then (good thing I had a spotter to grab the bar). This just kinda sucks big time, especially after my deadlift PR a couple of days ago.

On the bright side however, 75kg went up pretty smoothly, with no sticking point (Though it did slow down a bit towards the top).

I gotta focus more on my upper body work, as my lower body strength is getting way ahead of my upper body strength

Do you have long arms? If so, don't expect massive improvements. You will fight for every pound. I have very long arms (a 35/36 sleeve length) and man my bench sucks.

mine's about 28-29 inches from tip of finger to shoulders, so I don't think my arms are particularly long, even for a guy my height.
