Default Correct YTWL?

Is this the correct way to perform the YTWL?

I was under the impression that from the W, the L is formed by internally rotating the arm. That is W forms, and you rotate such that the L has the arms more in front of the body, and upper arm is in line with the body.

No, you have it right. With the L you want your upper arms perpendicular to your body, then you rotate your forearm down towards the ground and back up to the starting position, keeping the upper arm in the same position throughout.

I don't like her "overly-retracted" shoulders. Her excessive shoulder joint laxity is deceiving to the correct execution of the exercise.

Also possible to do them on a swiss ball. Also, try splitting them up into th Y, W, T, and L and doing them separately. Thats how I do them. Keep the swiss ball right here in my room and do them every night, in addition to MFR and some movement prep stuff. Only takes about a half hour.
