Hey Folks,
A great little roundtable discussion moderated my Maki Riddington on wannabebig.com with me, Tony, EC, and John Paul. All about the personal training biz.

When I opened that link and saw the photo, I first thought she was puking. HAHAHAHAHA! I had to actually stare at it for a minute to realize you were cuing her to use her back for a DB row.
Maybe I was influenced by the metabolic disturbance I just put my own client through! HA! (She didn't puke, though.)
I'll actually read the interview later when I get home.

I've had a few clients show me what they ate earlier in the day a few times...

Thanks for posting that John. Good reminder that I shouldn't have clients that wanna gain lean mass doing single leg db curls on a bosu (I've seen it! Recently!)

What certification out there recommends this? Im studying NASM now and while they have stabilization training, its nothing this ridiculous.
Incidently I did do a sport strength certification once that focused almost 50% on using an 'extreme balance board' , (which I couldn't stand on for more than 2 seconds but somehow got certified to instruct with in eight hours) to be fair the other 50% of thier approach was on compound movements. So I like to think that the good and bad cancelled eachother out and I ended up learning exactly nothing.

This is an excellent article/ interview. Really liked their insights, all of them are great but I have to single out John Paul as having some of the most outstanding replies in the interview.
For a moment, i though John Paul was JP here unitl I got to the end of the article.
