Anyone else find 2x24 a killer?
I got to the second workout in TTT, 2x24, and was stunned: it's a killer. I limped out of the gym. And that was after using 30 lb bb for curls and 10lb db for side raises!
Is something wrong with me, or have others found this one to be a killer too?

Wait until tomorrow morning -- you'll be cursing those reverse lunges too.
It's a tough day for many reasons. I had to drop weight the first time I did it plus it feels weird to do high reps when "everybody knows" that's for housewives and the uninformed. :-)

The reverse lunges were brutal too. I devolved into a wobbling mess half way through.
Btw, how are you doing the lunge sets: all one leg for 24 reps then the other, or alternating legs for the 24 reps? I tried it both ways and the alternating was definately harder.

Alternating. FWIW, I looked like a weeble the first week, but had incredible control the weeks after that.

I found this day damn hard,
I subed in bulgarian split squats for the reverse lunge.. so I was doing 96 total reps. wow, that was hard.

Wait -- I meant alternating legs but 24 reps on each leg per set.

right, so it would be left leg followed by right leg, and do this pair 24 times to make one set.

Exactly -- so really it's 2x48 if you counted each leg. Regardless it's a pain! :-)

TTT
definitely pushes you hard...
i had to adjust the numbers a lot... but ended up with like
MP - 55
Reverse L - 35 in each hand(alhgouth i only did 24 total reps-counting each leg, for each set.. o well
dip BW
DB upRow - 15
bb curl - 40 lb
DB side raise - 12
wow did i get a MASSIVE pump after this, i couldn't strech immediately after since my ROM was like 2 inches haha, so i had to like do some dynamic stretching sort of... to get any sort of flexibility back in the muscles so i could eventually do static about 10 mins later.

Hey guys and gals,
I'm happy to hear that the 2x24 workouts are testing your mettle. Maybe someday soon, you'll be looking forward to the 10x3 workouts!

:-) I'm currently doing 10x3 FFL and I have to admit that the long waits between workouts make them better. I forget they're killer until I'm standing under the bar and thinking "what...?"
FWIW, I find my body responds better to the high set/low rep schemes more than the opposite.
