Default GHR raises on ball vs GHR machine

Is it just me or is the GHR on the ball a little easier than the GHR machine?

That's an exercise I would really like to see on video. Maybe a comparison of the GHR on the ball versus the Back Extension??

Are there any ways to perform GHR raises without the machine that are closer to the difficulty on the machine?

My gym dosen't have a machine so I have to use the Lat Pulldown machine. I hook my legs under the pads and put my lower legs/shins on the seat and do them that way..

That's not a GHR, that's a manual leg curl. I use to do that before I was told it wasn't a GHR, too.

I'm interested in this ball idea, though. Even though it's easier, does it still work like a GHR?

there's really no replacement for a "real" GHR on a GHR machine.

I seen this called a natural GHR by other trainers on the board.
