Default beer gut

I just finished ready Scrawny to Brawny and really want to start, however I'm a little concerned because I want to lose my beer gut as well as gain size. I'm 6'2 170lbs skinny but used to drink lots of beer. I'm concerned that eating 4500 calories even with working out and not drinking my gut may not go away. Anyone else with this problem?

Have you tried gaining any weight before and failed? S2B eating might be a little much for those who haven't tried a "normal" amount of food to bulk up.

I've never gone out of my way and tried to gain weight. In highschool I used to eat fast food every day and ate a lot but never gained any weight. I got stronger but never got bigger when I lifted.

Start small. Nothing's going away at 4500 calories a day. It will just get bigger.
