Question Dos' Book?

In a couple threads I've seen Dos refer to His Book, is this Book published? If so what's the name? I'd love to pick up a book on training by him.

He hasn't even read it and he already thinks that Dos is God and his book is the new Bible. :p

I want to point out to everyone how much they should appreciate the fact that Dos didn't try to sell his book, and only referred to it while making a contribution to the thread. Apparently , some people have a problem with that.

Dos, will you tell us about your book?

I think he was referring to the Bible, but I could be wrong.

Have you read it, is it just a program or is it based more abstractly around program design and assesments?

That might be hard considering it's projected release date is Aug 07.

Hey guys, won't be out until May or june (I believe)....flying out to PA this weekend to supervise the photo shoot. BTW, the artwork in the yahoo books site is NOT going to be the cover artwork....UGH! can you imagine...'performance based conditioning' and here's a guy doing cable crossovers on the cover! WTF? We will pick the cover photo from the book's exercise photos later.

It's sort of a moot point in pimpin' the book since I don't have any control over sales etc. I am not selling any at all....it's all Rodale and MH etc. I did my part, now it's on the sales experts ; - )
Peace!

If he sends me one, I'll read it. Otherwise, I'll just have to wait with the rest of you.

dos, you have an overwhelming urge to send Lost Dog a pre-release copy of your book. PM him for his address. You will not sleep soundly until this is done.

I'm patient, though... I'm sure it will be excellent!

The original title was The Men's Health Strength Bible....boy, that would say it all huh??

Comprehensive book with the largest exercise menu ever (I am told). Workout templates, background info, performance nutrition, and tons of tidbits from all my friends in the field (wink-wink). Mike Boyle wrote the foreword to the book.....quite an honor I must say.

We're hoping for some excerpts in upcoming MH's to help promote the book. I will be talking about some of the programs at JP's Summit.

Hoyl crap? For under $20? One thing great about these mass publishing MH books is you get so much info for a great price.

Are there any OL lifts in the book? I gotta start buying and reading more training books! But i would mainly want something that has some olympic lifting stuff in them, since i find the stuff challenging and fun

DOs

Is there any benefit to you if we buy it from another source (say other than yahoo, which of course we would all google from here) . If so when it gets released would you post that kind of info. If you sell it directly or from your own site (preseumable more $ directly to you) please let us know.

In advance, congrats

Peter

Hey Peter, makes no difference to me. I don't even have a website where I sell stuff! The publishers are going to rely on mostly direct sales stuff through Men's Health etc. and to be honest, I don't even know where I would recommend you buy it from. Maybe when we get closer to the release date, i will be selling them from a website? Who knows....I sure don't!
