I've been lifting hard. and eating well for almost 6 months thanks to all the people here and all that I've learned from them. Are the gains that I've made good for 6 months of training(TAP, NROL, thanks Lou!)?
Weight 135-170
Waist 30'-33'
BF(acc. to this)
11.1%-14.5%
Deadlift 185-285
Bench 135-170
Squat 135-210
Are these decent gains for the time I've been lifting?
Thanks.

OK, let's review:
-You've put on 35#, with not that much fat (3% change in BF)
-You've upped your deadlift 100# (1.37 - 1.68 coefficient change, +.31)
-Bench +35# (no relative gain)
-Squat +75# (1 - 1.24, +.24)
You've added mass and have gotten both absolutely and relatively stronger. Keep it up dude
BTW, how old are you? 16 like me, too?

I'd say you need to clean up your diet more. You did put on a decent amount of LBM but IMO you gained way too much fat in the process. By my calculations you gaining 25lbs of LBM (excellent) but also 10lbs of fat. With a cleaner diet that number would have been less.
I guess it depends on your goals. Strength increases are great, but you could have done that with less fat gain...again, my opinion FWIW.

How many here wish they had all this knowledge available to them at 16? Keep up the good work PA.
At 16 I thought our school had the best weight room around. We had a Universal with 6 or 8 stations, several benches with a good assortment of free weights. Now if I would have only been smart enough to keep at it after I graduated.
Keep up the Good Work PA.

You're right, 10 lbs of fat is alot. But My diet was pretty clean.(I would only have 1 or 2 unclean meals per week, such as 2 slices of pizza). I also didn't eat way over maintenace. I thought I did all I could. Byt Hey, maye you're right. There is always room for improvement.
Also, 70% muscle gain during over feeding isn't terrible. It isn't great either, but it's not horrible.

I just think some have used the fact that they're bulking as an excuse to eat like shit and in mass quantities. You're definately on the right track though.

Great job!! at this rate when you turn 21 you'll be doing the following:
Deadlift 685
Bench 310
Squat 510
Hey if you aren't happy with your progress over the past six months you'll never be happy. You've made great progress - probably so much progress in the weight increases that you'll never see them go up as much over a six month period of time again. Great work!

PA, you couldn't have done much "awesomer". Your numbers are fantastic. As a comparison (though I am damn near twice your age), I have gained only 20 pounds of mass (mostly LBM) in 9 months.
Just so you know, I've been secretly stalking you on deadlift. You may be leading now, but I shall usurp you someday (probably while you are on some vacation).
