Default Strange Leg Question

Last night, the day after an intense lower body day I was driving home and got what I can only describe as a hot spot above my right knee. At first I thought the car was blowing something hot on the spot but when I got home I found that area was just really warm. I could feel it through denim jeans

Any thought or am I weirder than normal? I swear I wasn't drinking.

If you have to state that, then I think we know the answer.

I have never really heard of such a thing - was there any pain or inflammation associated with the warm feeling?

I get warm feelings above my knees after some workouts, never really thought it was bad, I always connected it with temporary inflammation.

I didn't associate it with anything really bad since there was no pain or swelling or real discomfort. It was just really warm. I'm guessing it was a combination of PWO and maybe some circulation issues. I drove an hour, sat for 3 and then drove another hour home while my legs were trying recover from being stressed.

If you are sitting for a long time post workout, I can see where it might be a circulation issue.

One time I was working outside helping a family move their furniture out (poor guys were getting evicted) and I noticed my thigh was really warm. Turns out it was the AAA battery I kept in my pocket incase the battery in my mp3 player died. Both ends managed to connect to my keys and the battery heated up. I found out later that if I hadn't have noticed it and removed the battery from my pocket, it may have exploded.

Something to think about.

If it heated up..wouldn't that be good circulation? I notice my muscles are very warm after a good workout.

Hot spot does seem a little odd Gabe. Maybe you BIONIC...maybe it WAS A BATTERY!!

Couldn't resist.

Is that a battery in your pocket or are you happy to see me?
