Default What degree should I get and where should I get it??

Alright people, I'm settled in after a move and I need to start thinking about my masters, but I've got a few dilema's, I'll get to those later. First off, there are so many fitness related degrees out there, I'm wondering which I should pursue. Here's a few things I'd eventually like to do (not all of them, but these are a few options I like right now):

-S&C coach for a college football team
-Coach a college PL team
-Open a public gym (and train people in it)
-Open a powerlifting/strongman gym (and train athletes in it)
-Open an athletic gym and train prep athletes (ala Joe DeFranco)
-While it wouldn't be my first choice, be an athletic/personal trainer at someone else's gym

So obviously I need an anatomy background first. But there's Anatomy & Physiology, Biomechanics, Exericise Science, Sports Science, etc. I'd also like to take nutrition courses as well. What should I be looking for in a degree? Then if I choose to open a gym I'll of course get the proper business training.

Now the dilema I have is that I'm in the Air Force, in Omaha, NE and my undergraduate degree is in Meteorology, not exactly helping me here. The university here seems like it has a great fitness program, but I can't take classes during the day and the online stuff they offer doesn't incude fitness majors. So I need a program with distance learning available. And since my undergrad is unrelated, I'd bet I'm gonna have to take several basic anatomy/chemistry classes first. I have a six year commitment to the Air Force, so I've got plenty of time, but I want to get started now.

Sorry for the long post, thanks for any help y'all can give me!

Jason,

The NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) offers online Master's degree programs in Exercise Science in association with a couple of universities:

http://www.nasm.org/ContinuingEducat...Education.aspx

Other online programs I've read about are those offered by the Optimal Performance Institute (OPI). I found about this at the ISSA's (International Sports Sciences Association) web site:

http://www.opi.edu/

I can't comment about the quality of those programs.

Yeah I've looked at that one, only problem is I don't have the background to get accepted. But that would probably be my first choice once I take the proper basic classes.

Could you take some of the basic pre-req's as a non-degree at Omaha or somewhere else? If you take several of those classes and do well (obviously) you should be able to apply to the UT system.
