Aren't most of the programs effectively cardio routines? I think they mentioned dance and martial arts in there?

I don't think it's going to help me improve my deadlifting technique much

If you're familiar with the console gaming, you should have heard of something called Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) by now, which is a fun game to play and at the harder settings is a decent cardio workout. Especially if you play at the arcades.

I think it's good that the video game industry is at least attempting to get people off of their asses. Unfortunatly, with the exception of the DDR game most of the interactive games are kind of lame, so I think it will be tuff for them to catch on.

It's not their job to get people off their butts, but if people want to do this to get cardio then have at it. Beats the heck out of sitting on a chair drinking Mt Dew all day.

I think that Kinetic looks pretty cool, and is def aimed at getting in shape, unlike the others.

apart from the cardio stuff it has what would appear to be upper and lower bodyweight stuff as well.

I thought it looked kinda neat.

I'm waiting for a powerlifting video game. It'd have a hydraulic system that you could load it up with x weight and do the three big lifts against online competition.

HA, that'd awesome.

I dunno, I think it looks pretty cool. Games, actual physical activity, what's not to like?

My 8yo and I are seriously considering getting one. Less than $40, not bad. And as Catsufari said - beats the heck out of sitting on a chair drinking Mt Dew all day, lol.
