Default A dilemma--summit attendees please read

About 7 people have registered so far, but possibly even more have purchased plane tickets I presume. I need to change the date to the week previous. I found out that the weekend I scheduled my summit is the same weekend as IHRSA, a major conference that many of my speakers will probably be attending (probably myself as well).

If you cannot do that weekend and you have already paid, I will refund you. If you have already gotten your flight and have to change your ticket please let me know if there is a fee and I will make up the difference.

Just to clarify, my original date was March 29th through April 1st. I need to change it to March 22nd through the 25th.

I am terribly sorry for the inconvenience! I thought I had worked out every detail till a couple of my speakers let me know that they couldn't come due to the conference. What an oversight!

Noooooooo! I bought my plane ticket just this weekend!

OK. It's ok. I'll just change the tickets. I can do that. (What a pain! )
I agree that it's better to not have the conflict and that the quality of speakers will be higher this way. It'd be weird to have the summit without you there too.

Lisa, if there is a fee to change your flight reservations I will gladly pay it.

No worries, JP. I registered early, but I'm lucky enough to live within driving distance.

Or two weekends after the original proposed summit. The weekend after is Easter, so it must then be the weekend after. If anyone tells me that it is some high holy holiday or HUGE trade show that I'm expected to attend I'm going to shoot myself!

I vote for then. Keeps spring break open and away from the NCAA tournament.

JP - someone is going to have to volunteer to be your appointment secretary online. You are proposing a conference for Friday and Saturday, the 23rd and 24 of March. Likely travel days for those attending are Thursday the 22nd, and going home or extra activities on Sunday the 25th.

Still looking forward to it. Rob

What we need now is a firm date. We now have two weekends rolling around here.

March 22 - 25
or
April 12 -15

Plant a stake.

Uh oh! Will take some doing, but I still plan on coming. My husband will have to either switch weekends with someone, or take some vacation time. Any word on the list of speakers?

JP, you have to make up your mind here. I'm very glad I didn't make plans. For those of us travelling on points, changing flights may not be possible even at an added cost.

I know I am just one drop in this big pond we call JP's but I was looking forward to attending on the original date. The April date would work for me as well but not the March 22nd date.

April 12 -15, come hell or high water! As I already stated, if any of you have already paid for tickets and have to incur a fee to change, please email me and I will pay the difference. I am really sorry for the inconvenience. Having so many speakers this year does introduce a few new challenges. On top of that I have never been busier at work than I have for the last few months. It's not just me being a flake (that's only part of it!).

I have a lot of work to do and no time to do it, but I will get the rest of the info ready soon, even if I have to cancel some clients this week.

Default Alternate place to have a fitness summit

Hey JP,

I found the perfect place for you to hold your next summit -- Disney in Orlando Florida, you would not believe the amount of grossly obese people drving scooters.

I saw one young lady who was probably about 13 and weighed twice the amount of what I do.

Since these people need help and motivation where better to hold a fitness summit?

Besides I can afford a plan ticket to Orlando.

I am terrible about my PM box. Please accept my apologies.
Yes I am coming. I have an exam on April 7 so I should be flying in around the 3rd or 4th. I'll be in Indy with my in-laws and then fly/take a bus down to LR.
