Question Opinions, please

Alright, as a self-confessed program ho, I am feeling the urge to go back to a more traditional BB style for the next month or two, mainly because I am somewhat tired of doing full body work all the time with deads, squats, and the like... I just started TT hardcore fat loss and find that my enthusiasm level is somewhat lagging after only one week of the four that I planned on doing. It isn't THAT much different from NROL FL II and I am feeling lots of ennui here.

I'll admit it... I WANT to do some bicep curls
I also kind of miss that individual body part soreness... and, to boot, I think that the NROL deads/squats have put on some serious muscle--and folks, I have plenty of it already. I really don't want big crazy quad sweeps although I will ALWAYS take a little more booty if not from the adipose side of the house

I will ALSO admit that maybe I am not that invested in some of the goals I have in my training log... like front squats with a wheel... well hell, I haven't even had a full wheel on my BACK squats recently, so that one may be a bit ummm... overly optimistic, to say the least.

Then there's the fact that I just ordered the Waterbury book as well... I have afterburn sitting on the nightstand too. I was NOT exaggerating with my opening statement, LOL.

Anyhoooooo..... if I DO change for a couple of months to a more standard BB split, I can lift more frequently and thus use it as a fat loss tool. Since I'm buddying up for a fat loss goal, I can rationalize it in my tiny pea brain that it makes sense to do this, but I would really appreciate any thoughts anyone has about the subject.

Thanks, all--

Tina

As long as its a safe program, you should do whatever type of training will get you into a gym looking forward to working hard. Of course, I am so hungry to do barbell complexes I could die!

By the way, are you a nurse?

I just saw you refer to the veteran's hospital and my wife is a nurse. Naturally, when I think care giver I think nurse. Sorry.

No apology necessary; nurses work their asses off and I hold them in the highest regard.
