Thanks for the compliments, I really appreciate it. It sounds cliche, but my arms used to be a weak point, so any kind of recognition isn't taken for granted.
As for training, I got the NASM standard & advanced certifications in '96 & '97 when Tom Purvis was at the helm & all they cared about was hypertrophy..

I used to wear a fanny pack daily. It wasn't until my girlfriend shot me a disturbed look & said "You look like your wearing an extra bladder or something" that I considered ditching it.

Many consider it a given that you're supposed to be switching from one to another, perpetually. It's silly.
So, culking denotes my personal preference for a long-term, more linear progression of body recomposition, which doesn't involve specific cutting & bulking cycles. As far as the "Dirty" part goes, it also has to do with my philosophy against the strict delineation of clean versus dirty foods. It's all a relative & individual matter. It's sort of a stand against undue food discrimination.

Wait, so if someone were to try out... say... the Velocity Diet to lose a few pounds... you'd think that this was probably a bad idea?

I've never had success with yoyo diets. Is this what your book will be about?

Based on your other thread, velocity = mass (of liquid poo) x distance

It has a broad range of nutrition & diet related topics, & that's one of them.

Fine, but stop beating around the bush, Alan, and say what's really on your mind! No, really... don't hold back!
