Drag Sled Plans?
Anyone have any links to drag sled plans out there?

Buy a used or inexpensive metal wheelbarrow. Take it apart (or don't assemble it). Put some eyebolts and nuts through two of the holes so you can attach chains or ropes to it. Attach chains of ropes to it. Fill it with stuff (sandbags, weights, kids, etc.). Attach it to you somehow (weightbelt or harness). Pull sled.

Find an old tire. Put a chain around it, and attach a rope to it with a carabiner. Drag. Add a piece of plywood in there to add more weight.

That's similar to mine. I have an old tire, attatched to tow ropes with eye-bolts (and big washers so the bolts don't pull through). When I need weight, I put rocks in the tire.

I considered a tire, but I don't like that they fill with water. Hard to get it out.

take a piece of plywood add a steel pipe in the middle to hold your plates, then add 2 2x4's at the bottom in the shape of a ski. Add some eye bolts and rope and you're good to go! Also I have these ropes attached to my climbing harness for a little more comfort when i'm pulling.

I'm looking for something like Mountain Marc has as I plan on taking it out in the car to an open parking lot/field to use it, I don't feel like ripping up my own property

A visual for two different styles of sleds:
and one where a tire is used as the base. Keep in mind that pulling a tire sled across a rubber matted floor is the true definition of "f'in hard work". But sure makes the sled drag that much more fun (yes, I'm a masochist  ) -
